Newborn moments in studio with this army family.

These guys came in the studio to photograph their Baby R as a newborn. She was a divine little thing.

N had a cesarean so her portrait session was booked from the date she had her c-section, with the flexibility that the date can be changed. Then I usually tell my mummies to let me know when they are ready to come in the studio.

The best time to do your newborn portraits are when babies are between 5 to 10 days old, for these sleepy and curly poses in your images. And after that, babies are generally more awake and not as flexible to pose. I don’t rush my mummies. It is really up to the parents on how they feel once they have their babies.  I always tell my clients to let me know when they are settled back in their hospital room or back home.
