A lifestyle maternity photoshoot is a beautiful and relax style to capture your pregnancy. Photoshoots are stress free, relaxed and heaps of fun. Lots of prompts and guidance will be provided from the start to the end of your photoshoot experience. I strive for clients to have the best experience they deserve.
Why having lifestyle maternity photos?
Being on the other side of the lens can be very daunting, especially when you haven’t met the photographer. Maternity photos aren’t for everyone. Women are in a vulnerable place while the body is changing every week. However that pregnancy glow is a beautiful feeling to photograph in a lifestyle way- with genuine emotions in your images. It is a wonderful journey between you and your family. These moments are beautiful memories to capture, to look back remembering your journey to parenthood. You won’t regret it.
What to expect from the maternity session?
Clients often say that they are awkward in front of the camera or not knowing how to pose. Your maternity session will be very lifestyle, natural, authentic but also relaxed and fun. It is not all portrait posy looking straight to the camera (although grand-ma prefers when everyone is looking into the camera). These prompts are very natural. This lifestyle way to photograph your pregnancy is very much posing behind the unposed.
Where should we document maternity session?
Your pregnancy would be capture as an authentic story at an outdoor location to see your story unfold with precious details. For outdoor locations, I have a variety of spots between The Dandenongs, The Peninsula or few little local spots if you don’t want to travel too far. It really depends the type of scenery you are wanting in your images. This will be discuss further during your consultation to prep for your lifestyle maternity session.
