Your Questions Answered: What to Expect for Your Photoshoot

My aim is to ensure your session is packed with fun and free from stress, providing you with the outstanding experience you deserve. Here’s a collection of frequently asked questions to guide you before booking your session. HOW TO BOOK?

To book your session, contact me by filling out this form here or email me at info@tiffanys.xedmanagementsolutions.com. 
Once we confirm a date, you will receive an invoice for your non-refundable session fee is required to secure the day and time of your session.

WHEN TO BOOK?

Timing for booking your session is incredibly flexible – it's never too early or late. Yet, do keep in mind that dates tend to get reserved in advance. To ensure your desired date is available and to prevent any letdown, it's advisable to secure your photoshoot by booking ahead of time.

For newborn sessions, we base scheduling around your due date or cesarean date, while remaining adaptable to shifts depending on when your baby arrives.

When it comes to pregnancy sessions, the sweet spot is around 32 weeks of gestation. This timing captures your pregnancy glow and provides ample time before your due date.

As for family sessions, they can be scheduled based on your availability, but it's wise to book in advance to ensure you get the slot that suits you best and avoid any potential disappointments.

WHEN ARE SESSIONS AVAILABLE?

Sessions are available

  • Monday to Saturday
  • Sunday & Public Holidays at an extra fee

WHERE & WHEN TO HAVE YOUR SESSION?

For family, couples, and maternity sessions conducted on location, we cover areas within a 40km radius of 3802. These sessions take place in the evening, approximately 1.5 hours before sunset, to capture that exquisite sun-kissed glow in your images.

WHERE IS THE STUDIO

My studio for newborn and maternity sessions is based in Endeavour Hills (3802).
Sessions are done in the morning for the best natural light.

CAN PARTNER AND SIBLING COME?

Your immediate family is an integral part of your photoshoot, as these captured moments hold immense significance. My approach to photography revolves around encapsulating the authentic connections and genuine emotions shared by you and your family.

However, please ensure that only your immediate family is present during the photoshoot.

WHAT TO WEAR:

This will be discuss during your consultation. You will receive guidance all the way before your session.
For mums, I have a beautiful range of dresses for your session. Otherwise, I love brands like Hazel and Folk, Forever 21, or Free People (for mums) Jamie Kay (for kids). Babies will mostly be wrapped during their newborn sessions.  

WHAT TO BRING:

You will receive a welcome guide, with all information you need to know about your photo session with me; what to expect. Change of clothes for everyone. Also bring entertainment, toys, keepsakes, accessories, nappies, wipes and dummies. Newborn sessions take between 2-3 hours, so bring drinks and snacks.

WHAT IF:

– In the event of rain:

I will contact you approximately one week before your session to provide the upcoming weather forecast. Should there be rain, I will make the necessary arrangements to reschedule your session.

 

- If you're feeling unwell:

We can certainly reschedule the session. Kindly provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to your session time. Failure to do so will result in the session fee being non-refundable.

 

– If babies aren't settling or children are uninterested in participating:

If babies aren't falling asleep, I'll capture them in the comforting presence of their parents. This approach not only preserves those intimate moments but also highlights the love and bond within your family. If children are hesitant to participate, I'll photograph them as they naturally are, avoiding any requests that they may not be comfortable with. Rest assured, the sessions are designed to be enjoyable for them.

WHEN WILL I HAVE MY IMAGES:

Following your session, you can expect a sneak peek within 48 hours. Your complete set of photos will be sent to you via email with instructions on how to access your private gallery, which might take up to 2 weeks. You will have a window of 7 non-business days to review your private gallery and submit your final order. It's important to note that after this period, your gallery will no longer be accessible, and not placing an order within this timeframe will result in a late ordering fee. Upon receiving your final order, the creation of your artwork will take around 3 weeks. The cost of postage is already included in the price you've paid.

DO YOU PHOTOSHOP?

My images include editing such as colour enhancement, lighting exposure and basic retouching like removing blemishes. Extensive retouching such as enhancing body part is available upon request at an extra cost. Please not that altering any images is NOT permitted.

WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE

To confirm your session, retainer is necessary and is non-refundable. The payment for your chosen package is expected once you receive your gallery.

For any artwork ordered, payment is required when you place your order after receiving your gallery.

  • Direct transfer
  • Credit Card payment  (plus an admin fee).
  • Payment plan is also available.
